Man is made and brought forth by a purely animal process and continues to be treated as an animal - whether he is loved, pampered, or tormented - by his utterly mindless and unenlightened parents or by those acting on their behalf, in pursuance of their own selfish ends.  Lacking any real love, any capacity or willingness to bring him up properly, they feed him and treat him like an animal until gradually his principal emotional and nervous faculties are crushed and destroyed.  It is at this point that one of the greatest agents of destruction, the Church (or religion generally), sets about destroying his soul, while the schools, acting on the authority and under the orders of the governments of all states throughout the world, apply themselves to murdering his mind...
