The Unbearable Comeback of Miniskirts

Young women in the metro
Wander up and down in the
Tragic attractions of May;
I've left my lunchbox at home.

Chance of a little "affair"?
The knowing moves of seduction?
My days are neat and clear,
Now I'm completely stunned.

The sealed cars of the Balard-
Créteil slip endlessly by;
Later on I fell on my face
It was a bright and sunny day.

Spring declared open
The seeds of panic
In the flick of a skirt.
My time was running away
(I could feel my flesh alive).
